Built for Hmong families

Your parents worked the shift. You get to choose.

They took whatever hours they were given so you would have options. This is one of them. Every business in your city is fighting to show up on Google — learn to put them there and they will pay you every month to keep them there. That is SEO, and it is a skill, not a lottery ticket.

Why we built this

You should not have to ask permission to bury your uncle.

Three days of ceremony. Noj Peb Caug on a weekday. A graduation two states away. Our people show up — that is not optional — and a time clock does not care. One column is the life most of us were handed. The other is the one a skill like this can buy back.

The 9–to–5 trap

  • You ask permission to attend a three-day funeral
  • Noj Peb Caug falls on a Tuesday and you burn PTO — if you have any left
  • Second shift means you eat dinner alone and miss bedtime
  • You trade hours for money, and you only get so many hours
  • A raise means waiting a year and hoping someone notices
  • The money stops the day you stop clocking in
  • Your parents worked the line so you would have a choice — and you still don’t

The Txoj Kev path

  • You are there for all three days, without asking anyone
  • New Year, graduations, the shop opening — you just go
  • You work after the kids are down, or before your shift, or both
  • You build ranking pages that keep earning after the work is done
  • Your income is tied to results you personally control
  • The skill travels — St. Paul, Fresno, Wausau, anywhere
  • You enjoy your tsev neeg now, not at 65

Txoj kev — the path

Five steps from zero to paid.

Our name means the path. This is it — in order, with nothing skipped between where you are now and your first client.

  1. Step 01

    Learn how Google actually works

The three pillars, how search engines crawl and rank, and the myths that keep beginners stuck. No jargon, no assumptions.

  2. Step 02

Build a real website you own

Domains, hosting, WordPress, plugins and technical SEO — applied to a live site, not a slide deck.

  3. Step 03

    Find the keywords that pay

Search intent, long-tail vs short-tail, topical maps and local SEO. You finish with your own keyword sheet.

  4. Step 04

    Land your first paying client

Google Business Profiles, citations, pricing retainers, reporting — and the Upwork profile that gets you hired.

  5. The goal

    Scale toward $10K a month

SOPs, VA management and the 90-Day Challenge — turning one contract into a repeatable book of business.

Where your first client comes from

You already know them.

Most people starting out have no idea who to sell to. You do. Every Hmong-owned business in your city is invisible on Google, and you have something no agency cold-emailing them will ever have — they already know your family.

Restaurants & grocers

The pho spot, the Asian market, the egg-roll caterer — all fighting to show up when somebody searches “Hmong food near me.”

Auto & trades

Body shops, mechanics, contractors and landscapers who get every job from word of mouth and nothing from search.

Insurance & tax offices

Agents and preparers whose whole book is referrals. Page one for “tax preparation” in your city changes that.

Salons, spas & studios

Nail salons, hair studios and photographers who live on Instagram and have never claimed a Google Business Profile.

Farmers-market growers

Family farms selling at market with no website at all — the easiest first win you will ever build.

Clan & community orgs

Nonprofits, associations and funeral-service providers that people search for at the worst possible moment and cannot find.

Module 7 covers how to price and pitch this without making it awkward at the next family gathering.

What the work looks like

You learn to move a business up the page.

SEO is not mysterious. You find the searches customers actually type, you build pages that answer them better than anyone else, and you earn the signals that tell Google to trust the site. Then you show the owner the graph.

  • Track clicks, impressions and position in Google Search Console
  • Report the movement to the client in plain language
  • Turn that report into a retainer that renews every month

Illustrative example of the kind of report you learn to build — not client data.

Questions

Nyob zoo — ask us anything.

I have never done anything technical. Is this too advanced?

No. Module 1 starts at what SEO actually is and how search engines work. If you can use a phone and a browser, you can follow the course. The website module walks you through domains, hosting and WordPress step by step.

Do I need to speak Hmong to join?

No. The course is taught in English. We built Txoj Kev Academy for the Hmong community because that is who we are and who we want to see win — but everyone is welcome.

Can I really get clients in my own community?

That is usually the fastest first win. Hmong-owned restaurants, auto shops, salons, insurance agents and family farms almost never have anyone doing their SEO, and most have not even claimed their Google Business Profile. You already have the trust that a stranger cold-emailing them does not.

I already work second shift. When would I even do this?

Most of our students do it in the hours they already have — after the kids are down, before a shift, on a day off. Nothing in the course is live-or-lose-it, and time management is covered directly in Module 8.

How much time does this take each week?

Most students work through it around a full-time job. The modules are built to be taken in order at your own pace, and time management is covered directly in Module 8.

Is $10K a month guaranteed?

No, and be careful of anyone who guarantees it. $10K/month is the target the curriculum is built toward. What you get is the full system, the instructors, and the 90-Day Challenge — the results depend on the work you put in.

Txoj kev — the path

Your family is not going to wait 40 years.

The skill is learnable. The clients are out there. The only thing that has to change is the day you start.
